Our teacher training courses, are suitable for graduates and non-graduates.
Included in the cost of the programme is an Ofqual recognised accredited teaching qualification, QTLS registration fee, along with one-to-one support to help you complete your teaching portfolio.
In addition, if you do not have English and Maths GCSE, or an equivalent qualification, you will have the opportunity to complete both your Maths and English whilst on the programme subject to an initial assessment.
So, who are we looking for?
First and foremost, you must have a passion for teaching and working with children and young people.
You will need to be aged 19 or over at the start of the programme.
You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an education setting and have experience teaching, or be a qualified professional.
You will need to be able to secure a minimum of 100 hours of teaching within your chosen education or training setting, and complete an additional 100 hours of teaching learners aged 14 and above, if you are teaching younger students.
You will need to have a level 3 qualification or above, and must have good Literacy, Language, Numeracy and ICT skills, and have GCSE grades A - C or equivalent, in Maths and English.
