The programme is delivered weekly on a Monday (Kent), Tuesday (Virtual) and Wednesday (London) term time. The total cost of the September 2022 programme, inclusive of VAT, is £3895.

The cost of the programme includes:-

The Diploma in Education and Training delivered over a period of 12 months (programmes costing up to £9250 according to UCAS)

Eligibility Criteria

Must have a passion for teaching and working with children
Aged 19 or over at the start of the programme
Able to secure a minimum of 100 hours of teaching within an education setting, (and an additional 100 hours of teaching learners aged 14 and above if you are teaching younger learners)
Must have a good command of English, Maths, and ICT (Information and Communication Technology), and have GCSE grades A - C or equivalent, in Maths and English
Prepared to study in your own time (reading, research and completing assessment activities for approximately 4 hours per week)

You can apply for Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status once you’ve successfully completed the Diploma in Education and Training. Once achieved, QTLS is equivalent to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England, allowing you to work as a qualified teacher in state schools.
